You can craft Mythic Unique items in Diablo 4 during Season 5 in a variety of ways to skip the grind it would take to find these powerful items from normal drops. A step above Legendary gear, Mythic Uniques have strong effects that could be perfect for your next character. As you explore seasonal content, you may find ways to get the Uniques you want rather than rely on luck.

Many Unique items in Diablo 4 have a chance to drop during the Infernal Hordes events that take place in World Tiers 3 and 4. The number of enemies you fight in waves during this mode gives you a chance to pick up a Mythic Unique eventually. However, you won't be able to determine which item will drop, or if it will apply to a character's build.

You can craft any Mythic Unique item with an Alchemist vendor in Diablo 4, who are NPCs located in many Waypoint towns throughout Sanctuary. The most common Alchemist you'll go to is in Kyovashad, but liberating Strongholds in the world could unlock others who are more convenient to travel to. Open the "Transmutation" menu from the Alchemist's store to navigate to where Unique item crafting can be found.

Under "Transmute Sparks" from this menu, every Mythic Unique weapon or gear piece that your character can use will show up listed in alphabetical order. It costs 50,000,000 Gold and 4 Resplendent Sparks to craft any Mythic Unique item with the Alchemist. If your Season 5 build in Diablo 4 can't use a specific Unique item, it won't appear among the ones available within the vendor's menu.

The Gold cost alone may seem daunting to craft Mythic Uniques, but you can easily farm enough Gold from various events. Helltides, Nightmare Dungeons, World Bosses, or the aforementioned Infernal Hordes are all great places to gain tons of Gold needed for the crafting process. Infernal Hordes are by far the best events to pursue though, sometimes yielding millions of Gold per run when you choose higher-difficulty waves.

The most common way to get the Resplendent Sparks you need is to break down Mythic Unique items you already have, but don't want to use. Similar to salvaging Legendary gear for their Aspects in Diablo 4, you can destroy a Unique item for its Sparks. If you have enough Gold, this could let you essentially swap a Mythic Unique you have for another one you want.

Pursue Mother's Gifts And Tormented Bosses

Mythic Unique items are rare enough to find, even with a pity system in Diablo 4 that will have at least one drop if you participate in multiple events. You'll need to find other ways to track down Sparks other than breaking down Uniques in your inventory to make the most out of the Mythic crafting system. Some of the best strategies come from new content in Season 5, while others are available in the base game.

Defeating your first Tormented boss will guarantee at least one Resplendent Spark to drop. These seasonal enemies you summon are quite powerful, giving you a variety of loot in addition to the material you need for making Mythic Uniques. However, you can't do this more than once on the same foe, as a Spark will only drop after the first encounter with a Tormented boss summoned in this way.

Season 5 introduces tiered rewards that come from collecting Mother's Gift items in Diablo 4, which mostly include Triune Caches with many different items. One Resplendent Spark comes from Tier 27 of these rewards, giving you a goal to work toward for the crafting resource. Try to complete Infernal Hordes to farm Mother's Gifts consistently enough to reach the required tier fast as you play.

One Resplendent Spark will also drop when you defeat Uber Lilith, a Level 100 version of the final boss from the main story. Once you have the Sparks you need in Diablo 4, you can craft whatever Mythic Unique item your character can use to grow infinitely stronger.
